Serving Nashville and surrounding counties, the Tennessee College of Applied Technology Nashville is one of twenty-six Colleges of Applied Technology established through legislation passed by the General Assembly in 1963. Formerly known as Tennessee Technology Centers, each College of Applied Technology is strategically located in a manner designed to serve Tennessee residents in a broad geographical area. In July 1983, the twenty-six schools now known as the Colleges of Applied Technology became part of the Tennessee Board of Regents, the seventh largest system of higher education in the United States. We are committed to offering a quality educational experience in a compassionate and respectful environment. Our programs and services are designed to instill character, dignity, and competence. To date Tennessee Technology Centers have served over 35,000 students.
