ANSWER: Safety, Power Quality& Reliability, Economic Responsibility QUESTION 2 What is Tri-County Electric's right-of-way? ANSWER 15 feet on each side of the center of the power line QUESTION 3: Can I plant anything within the 30 right-of-way? ANSWER: Planting trees within the (30) feet right-of-way is prohibited. Trees found within the right-of-way will be removed with the exception of "utility friendly" trees such as dogwoods. Only trees enrolled in the Vegetation Management Program will be allowed to remain in the right-of-way. Program enrollment is $5/month per tree. Any tree(s) enrolled in the program will be rounded and maintained by Tri-County Electric.
